Below is the first presentation completed by the 6th Grade students. The project took about 4 class sessions to complete. First the students had to select and research an interesting map projection. Upon selecting the map projection, the students worked on their presentations. They had to learn how to use Open Office Impress software to construct their slides, three to four slides per team. After creating their slides, the students prepared a one minute plus oral presentation. The following is the result of their first efforts.
